The Islands of Creativity: Venice seen through the eyes of young foreigners
As part of a workshop organized by the Venice International University on the San Servolo island, a team of students from all over the world developed a new way of discovering the city through images made accessible to both locals and tourists on Google maps

BROKEN VENICE

are just the first phase of a journey of exploration. A new creative movement made of people, training activities, new enterprises and studios, is coming into being on the islands and in the heart of Venice: Giudecca, Murano, San Servolo and other areas of the city are reinventing themselves and investing in innovation.
The students accompanied by the multimedia artist Gaston Ramirez visited people, institutions and places that represent these emerging facets of Venice in order to make their videos.
