Workshop, from 10.02.2009

Travel bookshop Marco Polo presents a photography course by Marc de Tollenaere photographer, at the bookshop starting from 10th February 2009.

The subscription is open to anyone who wishes to approach photography, having fun and at the same time acquiring the ability to master the camera.

The course, which develops on six classes, will take place every Tuesday from 7:50 p.m. to 10:20 p.m., starting from Tuesday 10th February, at the bookshop in Salizada San Lio, close to Rialto.

Marc De Tollenaere was born in Tripoli in 1969. He studied with Gianni Berengo Gardin, David Alan Harvey (Magnum), Kent Kobersteen (National Geographic), Antonin Kratochvil (VII) and Bob Sacha (Life/Fortune/National Geographic).
His first book “Venice on the edge of light” sold out in a few months. Besides, De Tollenaere distinguished himself at the Day’s Japan World Photojournalistic Award, he was recommended by the Association of Photographers, he collaborates with the Hangar Design Group, with Bell’Italia magazine and with Grazia Neri agency,

Subject of the course:
- Visual and camera perception
- Different kinds of cameras, film and digital, reflex and compact
- Wide-angle, normal, telephoto and zoom lenses, and their physical and practice characteristics
- Right exposure, time and  shutter
- A few hints on files management
- Practice

People attending the course must have a camera of any kind; for the sake of convenience digitals are better since they allow comparing the pictures on the PC without having to process them.

The maximum number of participants is 15. The right to participate is attested by the order of subscription that must be carried out at the same as the payment of the fee.
