Meeting 2008-2009

While waiting for the Punta della Dogana Contemporary Art Centre to open – slated for 2009 – Palazzo Grassi, in collaboration with the IUAV and Ca’ Foscari universities, will be organising a series of lectures on contemporary art which will bring some of the stars of the international art scene to Venice.
The aim of this long cycle of “art conversations” – due to end in spring 2009 – is to involve artists, institutions, local bodies and people, students and all cultural sector stakeholders in an awareness-raising process about contemporary art piloted by the first-hand knowledge of its protagonists, as well as showcasing the François Pinault collection.
