IUAV
In 2001 the IUAV University (Venice University Institute of Architecture, founded in 1926), extended its educational programme with the faculties of Art&Design and Urban&Regional planning.
The IUAV is the only university in Italy entirely dedicated to the study and the planning of spaces and environment in connection to human beings: buildings, cities, landscapes, but also every-day life objects, cultural, theatrical and multimedia events and graphics.
In addition to master, undergraduate and specialization courses, the IUAV also organizes workshops and project works: experimental workshops on planning thanks to the cooperation with internal and external, often world-class teachers and professionals. The presence of the IUAV on the international scene is reinforced by cultural exchanges with 67 other universities in the European Union.
