VeniceCube, an incubator of young creative companies
After a period of decline, due to the area’s deindustrialization, during the last few years the Giudecca island has been the centre of different housing recovery projects carried out by the City of Venice.
With the opening of an incubator, in the Ex-CNOMV area, many steps have been taken toward the renewing of the entrepreneurial sector.
In fact, VeniceCube hosts around twenty new companies working in communication, sustainable tourism, marketing, design, in urban and environmental consulting and in cultural promotion.
The key characteristics of these companies are dynamism, innovation and creativity. The core idea is to benefit from the cooperation and the synergy between different types of know-how that can be found in the same place.
