2009 Carnival, Commedia dell’Arte: Cyrano d’Arlecchignac, by Pantakin from Venice
domenica, febbraio 15th, 2009Theatre, 10 -24.02.2009

Cyrano d’Arlecchignac, directed by Michele Modesto Casarin, is the Commedia dell’arte show presented by the Junghans Theatre on the Giudecca for the 2009 Carnival, from 10th to 24th February 2009.
Every year the Saltimbanco festival – l’arte di far Commedia, now in its 3rd year, presents a new Commedia dell’Arte show. The timeless story of Cyrano de Bergerac is told through the folly of the masks which, along homespun wisdom, will save our heroes: Harlequin’s burlesque world meets the world of the Gascon hero giving rise to fantastic adventures, amazing characters speaking a Babel of languages, new masks and never-ending surprises.
