Art exhibition, until 22.03.2009

The free workshops, organized by the Palazzo Grassi education department, have became a weekly event for kids of all ages. Held from 10.30 to 12 am every Sunday they offer initiatives inspired by the art works on display.
Every Wednesday and Thursday fun-filled sessions held in the Palazzo Grassi learning workshop give children the chance to find out more about contemporary art – no booking needed.

A journey through Italian contemporary art, overshadowed by famous names.
This time the stars are not the usual Burri, Fontana or Morandi but over one hundred artists excluded from the big international art circuits who silently struggled to free themselves from the burden of the Italian art tradition and to follow the cultural revolution that was sweeping throughout the world in 1968 – the watershed year chosen as the start of the exhibition.
