The 40th International Theatre Festival runs 20th February to 8th March.

Theatre, from 27.12.2008 to 01.01.2009

The Dutch director Ted Keijser will conduct the show.
He will be accompanied by a cast of actors and circus artistes from different countries (Italy, Belgium, and Switzerland). The spotlight will be on the Clown who acts as a link between the spectacle of the circus and the poetry of the theatre.

Variazioni sul mito

Second encounter with Variazioni sul mito, an initiative organized by IUAV and Teatro Stabile del Veneto “Carlo Goldoni”. The project presents a series of shows dedicated to the most famous theatrical classics and to their contemporary re-reading.
Shakespeare’s Othello will be presented on February 20th and 22nd, whilst the theatrical work Iliade. Da Omero a Omero will be performed on Thursday 21st.
