2009 Venice Carnival. 12 concerts at Torino@Notte: live jazz, reggae, funk, hip-hop, soul, rock and rockabilly!
Twelfth Carnival in Campo San Luca in Venice by Torino@Notte, a bar that changes its look after dark turning into a happening spot for jazz, reggae, blues, drum’n’bass music with wild jam sessions where the top Venetian musicians battle it out with that night’s star.
Showcasing both homegrown talent and visiting performers Torino@Notte is a great place for partying to live music; the free live music nights are met with enthusiasm by a mixed public of locals and tourists. Mercoledì jazz (the Wednesday jazz jams), the MusicaInCampo contest, various photography and painting exhibitions together with a host of events like VeneziaTuona and GiraSanLuca with top Venetian and international DJs taking turns at the turntables.
