A competition between one hundred movies, 350,000 visitors, many events: from August, 27 to September, 6 65th Venice International Film Festival will take place in Lido, Venice.

After the opening night with Burn After Reading, a spy-comedy directed by Coen brothers, with Brad Pitt, George Clooney and John Malkovich, 11 days dedicated to cinema’s world are started.

The line-up of the 65th Venice Film Festival includes the following sections: Venezia 65 (the competition for the Golden Lion), Corto Cortissimo (reserved to the short films), Orizzonti, about the new trends of cinema, and Fuori Concorso, for the movies out of competition.
