World premiere for Die Puppe - La bambola di Carne: on Saturday 21 at 6th International Festival of Contemporary Dance.
La bambola di carne is an experimental project in media polyphony: voice, images, music and dance.
The performance takes origins from the film of Ernst Lubitsch: elaborated as a video, it appears in the performance with a soundtrack and accompanied by Marina Giovannini (dance), Letizia Renzini (electronics, voice, instruments), Sabina Meyer (voice).
The challenge is to create a choreography and a symbolic dramaturgical outline that can stand up to the narrative of the film and its technical elaborations. The video-film image alternately becomes counterpoint, musical score, background or additional active element in the relationship with the performer.
