La Compagnia dell’Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma, che ha appena concluso le rappresentazioni di Incipit, Biennale Danza

To fulfil the wish of the audience, the Biennale offers two extraordinary repeats of The Waste Land, the show directed by Ismael Ivo with the Arsenale Danza dancers.

The Waste Land, Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 June, Teatro alle Tese, 8 pm.

The young selected this year for the new Biennale master with Ismael Ivo debut on stage, as part of a project that will call all the young interpreters to pit their skills against auteur choreography. The Waste Land is the world we live in, a “desolate landscape” drained of its resources which compels us to find a new meaning to the celebration of rites, to the return of spring and the joy of dance, so dramatically expressed by Stravinskij in his Rite of Spring. A creation seeking the degree zero of movement and the relationship with the ground to prod the dancers to find a new beginning in today’s tormented world.
