Il Filo delle donne Venexiane (that is the Venetian women’s thread): an amazing performance to look into the female universe by portraying it through the stories of some of its leading figures, both from history and myth.
On Friday 9 and Saturday 10, theatre at Carlo Goldoni’s house: Anzola máre e Zeffirina voría.Anzola and Zeffirina are women with a strong identity. They will narrate about the female figure in ancient Venice through theatrical texts, poetry and music. This by harmoniously integrating scenic interpretation into the museum spaces and by referring to remarkable pieces of its collection.
Besides representing various women’s stories, the aim of this performance is that of enhancing Venetian popular culture by rediscovering its artistic and linguistic heritage.
