On may, 4 the antique traditional Festa della Sensa will be celebrated.
From 10.30 am, in the lagoon between St. Mark’s and Lido island, the Ceremony of the marriage between Venice and the Sea will take place.
From 12.30 am on the beautiful Island of St. Andrea the Festa di Sant’Andrea will begin, with extraordinary opening of the island, free food and guided visit to the antique military fort.
There will be a shuttle boat from San Nicolò in Lido to Sant’Andrea from 12.00 a.m to 6.30 pm.
