Kristen Cavagnet is back in Venice with a new series of works as part of the investigation activity she started in 2007.
Invisible words. Communication is the main theme: a sophisticated and delicate investigation on the difficulties that people encounter in understanding one another and in expressing their feelings.
The straight, sometimes irregular, lines chase one another on the canvas, from where the deepest thoughts and most intense emotions emerge.
Black and white tones are predominant and they are often used on same colour backgrounds, otherwise they are mixed with cold or warm shades: the outcome of this research is really pleasant from an aesthetical point of view.
