Gunilla Jähnichen, who has already presented her works at the Bugno Art Gallery, is back in Venice with her new project Neue Bilder starting from the 15th of March.

This exhibition embraces all the new works of this young German artist, which are made with the oil technique on both canvas and cardboard.
The psychological universe of adolescents represents the key theme of her research: the faces of young people, the main characters of her works, dominate on the mat colour canvas and evoke still and silent atmospheres, with stylistic features recalling Balthus’ works.
