Venice Fashion Week is part of the national celebrations for Made in Italy. From April 15 to 23, 2024, fashion, craftsmanship, and the sustainability of young designers and artisans return to Venice, exploring connections between fashion and craftsmanship with Fashion Revolution Italia.
The spring edition of Venice Fashion Week takes place from April 15 to 23, 2024, with a program of events featuring designers, businesses, and creatives:
Monday, April 15 is the National Day of Made in Italy. In Venice, a special edition of Atelier Aperti opens the doors of over 20 historic and creative studios to provide an up-close look at master artisans, designers, and Venice’s places of craftsmanship.
Tuesday, April 23 marks the 10th anniversary of Fashion Revolution Italia and the Fashion Revolution Tour: a talk at the Royal Gardens of St. Mark’s Square and an itinerary to discover the connections between international fashion designers and master artisans.

Discover the master artisans and the historic and creative ateliers of Venice
Monday, April 15 is the National Day of Made in Italy. In Venice, Atelier Aperti, part of the Ministry’s official calendar of initiatives, will open the doors to places of craftsmanship.
It will be possible to meet master artisans in their workshops, participate in workshops, and learn about the arts that make Italy great.
Featured participants include the Alto Artigianato Venezia network of historic excellence and over 20 historic and contemporary artisan ateliers.
Participation is free; no reservation required.

Celebrate the anniversary of Fashion Revolution Italia
For its tenth anniversary, Fashion Revolution Italia inaugurates the Fashion Revolution Tour in Venice, a cultural itinerary to discover fashion sustainability through the expertise of contemporary artisans and designers.
“We wanted to begin the second chapter of Fashion Revolution’s history in one of the world’s historic textile capitals, Venice, a port of arrival and dissemination of culture that has influenced the fashion system over the centuries,” states Marina Spadafora, Country Coordinator and President of Fashion Revolution Italia, which since 2014 has been the world’s leading movement for ethical fashion.

The #FashionRevolution talk
The day begins at 2 PM at the Royal Gardens of St. Mark’s Square, a historic meeting place restored and reopened to the public by the Venice Gardens Foundation, with a talk by Marina Spadafora (Fashion Revolution Italia) featuring Orsola de Castro, co-founder of Fashion Revolution, and the partners who contributed to the project: Laura Scarpa (Venezia da Vivere and Venice Fashion Week), Sara Sozzani Maino (Fondazione Sozzani), Matteo Ward (Fashion Revolution Italia and WRÅD), and Alessandra Vaccari (University IUAV of Venice).
The #FashionRevolution tour
After the talk, we will set off to discover the designers and workshops of the Fashion Revolution Tour: the brand Dennj at the Attombri workshop, Lessico Familiare at Tabinotabi, designer Felipe Fiallo with his innovative sneakers at the Ramosalso atelier of tailor Demis Marin, and designer Marcello Pipitone at the historic printing house Veneziastampa, the projects of Sanaz Nataj Couture and Made for a Woman at the Lunardelli Venezia woodworking shop, and the brand Cavia at Paperoowl, where we will toast with wines from Fiorotto 1934. Part of the itinerary, which will be open until April 29, will also include Palazzo Mora, which will host the work Hope Dress by Elaine Foster-Gandey.
The tour is free and open to everyone, departing from the Royal Gardens at the end of the talk.
