For Open Ateliers, Gigi presents her studio through the story of some of her works: the origins, inspirations, and curiosities among her works of great evocative power in the spirit of a “logic of wonder.”

AKKA Project is an art gallery by curator Lidija Kostic Khachatourian, focused on contemporary art by established and emerging creatives from Africa or those wishing to expand their cultural and artistic horizons. It is also an artist residency, where for three months participants can design and work, and thus be supported, especially self-taught artists in discovering and creating their own art form. AKKA Project is in Dubai, Venice, and soon in Switzerland.
