Meeting with the artisan artist to discover how to create a lost-wax jewel, Piazza San Marco 130
Lost-wax casting is the ancient technique with which Valeria creates her jewelry: works of art in precious metal with inlays of semi-precious stones, coral, gold, silver, and bronze, to create wearable sculptures that tell stories of emotions.
For Atelier Aperti, Valeria will teach the lost-wax technique in her workshop in Piazza San Marco, showing how to create jewelry that stops time.

In the newly opened Terrazza Aperol, the founders of Pieces of Venice will present the latest news from 2020/2021. For the occasion, a “souvenir of the day” will be given to all participants: a bookmark made of wood recovered from a bricola, treated with innovative technology to be flexible and featuring the laser engraving: Pieces of Venice for Atelier Aperti by Venezia da Vivere.

Atelier Aperti | INFO
Atelier Aperti is part of the Venice Fashion Week ecosystem, the event that promotes Venice as a center of production and creativity. Venice Fashion Week returns to present Venice as a city of Haute Couture with fashion shows and events from October 9 to 23, 2021.
The next edition of Atelier Aperti will be from April 12 to 23, 2022, as part of the Homo Faber program.
Atelier Aperti supports #VeniceOriginal, a project by CNA Venezia that promotes craftsmanship through itineraries and an e-commerce site for artistic and traditional manufacturing excellence in Venice.
Logistics
Participation in the walks is free with mandatory reservation by writing to hello@veneziadavivere.com (it is necessary to wait for confirmation).
To participate in the walks, it will be necessary to show the Green Pass. All events apply the measures indicated by the national health authority for safety. For this reason, the number of places is limited.
It is possible to visit the artisans independently by writing directly to the atelier’s reference contact (and waiting for confirmation).
Should any changes occur in the programming, subscribers will be notified at the email address used for registration.
