Ten days of events and fashion shows in palaces, galleries and art venues; with meetings, exhibitions and conferences on sustainable fashion, crafts and emerging designers.
The Department for International Trade and the British General Consulate have organized a Sustainable Fashion Day at the Hotel Ca ‘Sagredo on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, where Marina Spadafora, leader of Fashion Revolution Italy, will moderate the UK-Italy meeting titled Lessons on Sustainable Fashion, with speeches from the London College of Fashion-UAL, Iuav University of Venice and two designers Tiziano Guardini and Patrick McDowell.
The theme for the Table will be creating the next generation of stylists and educating the consumer of the future. At the end of the meeting in the rooms of the Ca ‘Sagredo hotel the designers will stage two exceptional tableau vivants. In addition to their latest collections, they will present, in advance and exclusively for Venice Fashion Week, their new creations, result of the collaboration with the excellent craftsman of Venice.
Tiziano Guardini, awarded by Livia Firth at the Green Carpet Fashion Award and selected by Vogue among The Next Green Talents, is defined by the press as the stylist of nature. “Eco-sustainability is the ability to perceive the sacredness of life”.
