In Calle Larga XXII Marzo Fabiana Filippi’s store tells the unmistakable aesthetic path among a dreamy modernity, emotions and authenticity
Fabiana Filippi‘s new collection materializes in the muffled atmospheres of a winter dawn. The morning mist dissolves bringing out femininity with clear and essential shapes, defined by enveloping yarns and noble fabrics.
The chromatic landscape is suspended between ethereal nuances and concrete tones; from pure white to mist, progressing with ecru, stone and amber to green olive and slate. The colours resembles the woods to then descend towards the cold colours of the winter sea, with contrasting combinations or ton sur ton.
In each proposal there is a caress of natural elegance and the will to define the forms without forcing them. So the soft coats and hoods come gently together with the women silhouette. Over lines are combined with well-defined shapes, such as the gaiter trousers. Sartorial masculine jackets with check patterns are worn over Victorian romantic shirts.
The materials always bring forth a vision of clean, minimal but detailed elegance. The knitwear has an absolute purity. The outerwear is in soft baby camel, alpaca or presents new technical jacquard enriched with fil coupé. A natural mix of fabrics for the trench coats; the yarns mix with velvet taking the form of sporty-chic relaxed clothing.
The processing adds a sense of magic to everyday gestures, making the clothes as special as the accessories. Light silk petals on the sweaters whisper an impalpable poeticism. Laminations give a satin shine to the jersey as to the shearling. Aristocratic are the fox boule applied by hand on over coats. Cashmere and alpaca acquire the soft dimensionality of a fur.
The architect Nicola Quadri has created the refined concept of the Venetian store, a few minutes from Piazza San Marco; furthermore he has worked on the windows of the other flagship stores, also designing the company’s spaces in Giano dell’Umbria. In line with the image of the fashion house, the store in Venice aims to be a place for telling stories of excellence and quality.
Every detail expresses the research for balance and harmony between lines and volumes; surfaces and lights. Natural shades such as warm white and lead gray are perfectly balanced with the other materials such as brass and stone.
The choice of the furnishing elements, from the very elegant wall panelling to the single pieces of design that compose the space, expresses an intrinsic taste for beauty as well as being functional to welcome and valorise the displayed collections, enhancing their naturalness and uniqueness.
The result is a warm and captivating place that brings us back to a timeless modernity and to the values of refined understatement of the Fabiana Filippi’s universe.
The Venetian boutique is added to the already existing Fabiana Filippi’s stores in Italy: in Milan, Forte dei Marmi and Ischia and to the other flagship stores abroad.
