Florence Cocktail Week returns to Florence for its seventh edition, involving 46 of the city’s best cocktail bars from April 17 to 23, 2023, with meetings, masterclasses, and night shifts with international bartenders and events for professionals and enthusiasts
The seventh edition of Florence Cocktail Week returns to Florence from April 17 to 23, 2023, the event dedicated to conscious and quality drinking conceived and organized by Paola Mencarelli.
It is preceded by the fourth edition of Tuscany Cocktail Week, which takes place in ten Tuscan provinces from April 10 to 16,
An edition full of initiatives, international participation, and new features such as FCW Young Guest Bartender, which promotes young bartenders under 25.
After its debut in 2016, Florence Cocktail Week led to the creation of new Cocktail Weeks: Venice Cocktail Week in Venice and Cortina Cocktail Weekend in Cortina.
“Our Cocktail Weeks are not standardized events,” says Founder & Creative Director Paola Mencarelli. “To keep the energy and curiosity alive, I like to revise the format every year, introducing new features and modifying aspects that become monotonous over time. Creating or embracing fresh and valuable trends is my way of bringing unique and stimulating events to life.”
Seven days of events spread across selected cocktail bars, masterclasses, product and book presentations, Italian and international guests: from Midday Aperitivo to Night Shifts, participating venues will create a drink list composed of three special cocktails:
– The Signature Cocktail
– A RiEsco a Bere Italiano drink dedicated to Made in Italy for Florence and for Tuscan provinces a RiEsco a Bere Toscano drink dedicated to Made in Tuscany
– The Eco Cocktail dedicated to sustainability

Florence Cocktail Week is an event sponsored by the Municipality of Florence with the support of the Metropolitan City of Florence. It celebrates the art of mixology with the best bartenders from Florence and Italy to offer visitors, industry professionals, and the curious innovative and delicious cocktails, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
A week also featuring workshops and seminars, where you can learn the techniques and secrets for creating a perfect cocktail, even at home, and a Historic Cafés Tour to explore the city through culture and history in venues and cafés located in splendid historic buildings.
