Venice Fashion Week Celebrates Ten Years and the Next Edition from March 30 to April 2, 2023 is Dedicated to Research, Craftsmanship and Sustainability as Values for the Future
Venice Fashion Week celebrates ten years and from Thursday, March 30 to Sunday, April 2, 2023 presents conferences, fashion shows and events in palaces and artisan workshops. The planet’s resources, the talents of artisans and sustainability as a value for the future are the themes that the event has been promoting since 2013.
The conferences – the sustainable tourism day and the sustainable fashion day – are moments of study and research to share best practices and consolidate the network of sustainability stakeholders in the area.
The events showcase the heritage represented by artisans, tailors, artists and designers who work between tradition and innovation, tailoring and upcycling, use of sustainable and natural materials.
The artisan workshops and creative studios, to be discovered through the Atelier Aperti itineraries, are places where the community gathers and where artisans educate and train new generations.
