Venetian ateliers once again take center stage at Venice Fashion Week 2024 with a program of meetings, aperitifs, and presentations, the perfect opportunity to meet the creative minds who, through their daily work, preserve and innovate Venice’s cultural heritage.
From master artisans to emerging designers, each atelier offers a close-up look at techniques and materials that speak of creativity, love for beautiful and well-crafted things.
Participation in the events is free. Choose the atelier you wish to visit or the event you wish to attend, and contact the atelier directly to confirm your attendance.

The Boat Boutique by Patience
Daniela Lombardo, designer and artisan, presents the new autumn/winter collection by Patience on a Boat Boutique: it will be possible to explore the new pieces on Wednesday, October 23, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM aboard the sanpierota by Venice on Board moored at Fondamenta della Misericordia 2535, and toast with a glass of wine selected by the bookshop-bistro Sulla Luna.
Daniela’s garments are handmade and created with respect for the environment and people, from the choice of fabric to the creation of the garment itself. Each piece expresses hope, aspiration, commitment to the planet, and the desire to preserve artisan tradition.

Every morning in Venice a resident wakes up and starts running. It doesn’t matter whether they are a dog sitter, a student living away from home, or a volunteer for the Redentore organizer—the important thing is to run as fast as possible to complete the mission.
The artist, graphic designer, and printer Vanessa Milan, a Venetian creative by choice, presents in her atelier the artisan game Venice Alive, which she conceived, created, and illustrated. The 300 copies of the book are the first examples of a handmade game that offers an authentic Venetian life experience. The character tokens, inspired by friends and acquaintances, are mosaics created by the furnace Orsoni Venezia 1888, one of the oldest in Venice.

An invitation to discover the centuries-old history of a Venetian artisan excellence: a few steps from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the visit to the shop offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Murano glass with works that tell over 600 years of tradition. Guests will be welcomed with a prosecco, among iconic glass creations such as chandeliers, mirrors, and vases.

Giuliana Longo: A Hat Maker in the Andes
The association El Felze presents Venetian sartorial art, recounted firsthand by milliner Giuliana Longo, winner of the The Blue Artisan 2023 award, and the second installment of her 20-year research: the story of a hat maker in the Andes, which tells how the famous Panama hat is made.
At 5:00 PM it will be possible to participate in a guided tour of the atelier of the International Graphics Center. Palazzo Minelli is next to the Ateneo Veneto, in Campo San Fantin.
