Venice Fashion Week celebrates its 10th anniversary. The program for the upcoming edition in Venice from March 30 to April 2, 2023 is dedicated to research, craftsmanship, and sustainability as values for the future
The spring 2023 edition of Venice Fashion Week has been announced, taking place from March 30 to April 2 in Venice.
A Research edition of encounters between fashion, craftsmanship, and design, and two important conferences exploring the debate on sustainable fashion.
Thursday, March 30 at 6:00 PM Venice Fashion Week begins with the presentation of the collaboration between fashion brand Liviana Conti and the historic excellence of Murano glass, Seguso Vetri d’Arte.
On March 31 at 10:00 AM with Venezia Turismo Sostenibile, tourism stakeholders gather to design together Venice’s transition to a sustainable destination and make tourism a resource for well-being and life in Venice.
On March 31 from 4:00 PM, the splendid spaces of Palazzo Sagredo host Ornamenti Atelier, an event bringing together fashion, tailoring, art, and performance.
It will also be the moment for Seguso Vetri d’Arte and Venezia da Vivere to present the The Blue Artisan award, recognizing sustainable artisan excellence to Venetian milliner Giuliana Longo, during a conversation with Alessandra de Nitto of Fondazione Cologni.
April 1 is dedicated to Sustainable Fashion Day, a conference with journalists, activists, businesses, and designers on the value of work in fashion, addressing social change, greenwashing, and conscious consumption.
That evening Venice Fashion Week celebrates 10 years at the Oriental Bar of Hotel Metropole, with fashion and cocktails.
On April 2 Venice Fashion Week presents an afternoon in the garden at NH Collection Grand Hotel Palazzo dei Dogi with fashion presentations, workshops, interviews with designers and artisans, and the discovery of the hotel’s botanical garden.
Antonia Sautter Atelier is the event closing the spring edition of Venice Fashion Week, transforming the hotel spaces into a meeting point between ancient savoir-faire and young energies projecting into the future.

The Tavolo delle Storie at 6:30 PM reveals the creative processes, refined techniques, materials, sustainability, and poetics of the work of seven women artisans: Stefania Giannici of Paperoowl, Nadia Syrkova of Syrk Design, Valeria Boncompagni, Shanti Ganesha of Meracu, Marisa Convento, Laboratorio Donà by Patrizia Donà and the recycling of Sabrina Pigozzo of Magoga Team Venezia.
