Thursday, October 25th at Ca’ Sagredo Hotel the sustainable fashion of Imama and Poethica walks the catwalk for Venice Fashion Week: ethical fashion, innovative and non-cruelty fabrics for the future of the planet<\/h2>\n

The sustainable fashion of the two emerging brands Imama Project and Poethica will be on show for Venice Fashion Week 2018<\/strong> at Ca’ Sagredo Hotel in Venice.<\/p>\n

Imama and Poethica testify the green revolution<\/strong> taking place in the fashion sectors for a new circular economy, both pioneers for an ethical fashion created by ‘happy’ people, using artisanal techniques and innovative and cruelty free<\/em> fabrics for the future of the planet.<\/p>\n

The Imama and Poethica fashion show is on Thursday, October 25th at 7pm by the Hotel Ca’ Sagredo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imama Project clothes narrate people\u2019s life stories<\/strong><\/p>\n

Imama Project<\/strong> is a non-profit fashion brand that supports social projects<\/strong> thanks to its proceeds. The production of the Imama brand’s items does not take place in one single manufacturing location but in different production units.<\/p>\n

The production is outsourced to social cooperatives, tailor-made laboratories, ateliers in Italy and abroad<\/strong> to support people who live in situations of misery and marginalization.<\/strong> In this way, the company income funds personal initiatives of entrepreneurship aimed<\/strong> at improving the living conditions in the different demographic areas.<\/p>\n

For Venice Fashion Week<\/strong>, the brand has created a clothing range that tells about life stories and opportunities.<\/strong> The fabrics – mainly made in Guinean ateliers<\/strong> and in social cooperative tailor’s shops – are those of Stefania Pochesci<\/strong>; they are designed envisioning worlds infused with love, happiness and the chirping of birds. The wax fabrics<\/strong>, with their colours and their tradition, reminds us of the African origins of the brand.<\/p>\n

Poethica. Made Kindly. A sustainable fashion project for the planet<\/h2>\n

Poethica<\/strong> was born to inspire a sustainable lifestyle that can be both precious and desirable as it is ethical and created with kindness. It is a sustainability project<\/strong> that spreads out to consumers, workers and the entire planet.<\/p>\n

The clothes and accessories are designed by a collective of designers<\/strong> that share Poethica’s values. The new production fibres<\/strong> and yarns come from the north of India, South America, South Africa and North Europe.<\/p>\n

Poethica rediscovers and enhances ancient manufacturing<\/strong> techniques belonging to different cultures and at the same time it develops and introduces new solutions and materials<\/strong>, creating unique and timeless styles.<\/p>\n

Its commitment is to limit unnecessary waste and cruelty<\/strong> on animals, giving a new life to unused fabrics<\/strong>, promoting the local and family micro-enterprise<\/strong> so to create an attentive and sustainable production cycle.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, October 25th, we will be presented a few garments that anticipate the next debut collection, entitled Bohemian Echos<\/strong> and available from next year, in the Cruise Collections 2019.<\/strong> This was created with the use of fibres obtained from up-cycle processes, non-cruelty silk such as Ahimsa, Eri and Muga, Corn, Hemp, Linen,<\/strong> from organic cultivation and additionally, Lyocell\u00ae, Pinatex\u00ae, Vintage<\/strong> and dead-stock fabrics<\/strong> will give life to the bohemian elegance of Poethica. Made Kindly.<\/p>\n

The students and professors of IED – European Institute of Design<\/strong> in Venice – took part in the project; they worked with enthusiasm on the packaging of a three-piece mini-capsule designed by Imama and Poethica<\/strong> to represent the synergy between the two brands.<\/p>\n
