While in Cannaregio<\/strong> the Instancabile Groggia<\/strong> season is ready to start with the theatre for the city of Mattia Berto<\/strong> at the Teatrino of Villa Groggia, in Dorsoduro<\/strong> the dell’Avogaria Stand-Up Comedy<\/strong> review continues; it is a ‘without censorship’ comedy show in the lovely space of the Teatro a l’Avogaria. While at the Zattere<\/strong> we can discover the new talents of the contemporary music scene: Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi presents the third edition of New Echoes<\/strong>, an exhibition that opens the doors of two spaces: Teatrino of Palazzo Grassi, an iconic venue designed by Tadao Ando<\/strong>, and the phantasmagorical Palazzo Franchetti, the Venetian headquarters of the IED<\/strong> Istituto Europeo di Design of Venice.<\/p>\n

NEW ECHOES<\/strong>
\nNew Swiss Music Festival in Venice<\/strong>
\n3rd edition – January – April 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After the great success of the first two editions, the third season of New Echoes, the New Swiss Music festival, begins on Friday 18th January at 9.00 pm<\/strong>, with a project by Enrico Bettinello<\/strong> at Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi, headquarters of the Swiss Consulate in Venice and of the Foundation Switzerland for culture Pro Helvetia.<\/strong> He will present some of the most interesting musical realities from Switzerland between contemporary jazz, indie-rock and electronics.<\/strong><\/p>\n

6 events<\/strong> between January and April 2019 to discover the relational potential among different musical languages: we will start with the Stefan Aeby Trio<\/strong> at the piano and continue with the experimental folk singer-songwriter by Eric Chenaux,<\/strong> the guitar research by Christy Doran<\/strong>, the percussions of Lucas Niggli<\/strong>, the new electric \u200b\u200bof the Trio Heinz Herbert<\/strong> and the female performative pop of the Eclecta.<\/strong> All concerts are free admission.<\/p>\n

Where to go before and after the concerts<\/h3>\n

We like very much Nico’s ice cream at the Zatere<\/strong><\/a>; with its famous terrace on the water it is not just a summer place, but a true Venetian institution<\/strong> where to drink a ‘spritz’ aperitif together with others local Venetians; it\u2019s became famous for the walking-gianduiotto<\/strong> and as a place where to lay in the sun in complete relax. The fresh whipped cream to take home, made fresh on the spot, is highly recommended, a delicatessen to wait for while looking at the stormy water of the Giudecca Canal.<\/p>\n

The theatre for the city of Mattia Berto is at the Teatrino Groggia in Cannaregio and inside Venetian hotels<\/h3>\n

We are waiting for 23rd February 2019<\/strong> when we will participate in the second act of Sherazade. My life hanging on a story,<\/strong> the new laboratory of a theatre for the citizens by Mattia\u00a0<\/b>Berto<\/b><\/a><\/span> for the Teatro Stabile of the Veneto region will take us to the discovery of the most mysterious hotels in Venice<\/strong>.\u00a0 We accept the director’s invitation to reflect on the city through the lenses of the theatre.<\/p>\n

The festival “Instancabile Teatro<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0di Mpg Cultura<\/strong><\/a><\/span>” dedicates shows and workshops<\/a><\/span> to various public audiences, until next April: \u2018Instancabili Piccoli\u2019<\/strong> is an itinerary for children full of suggestions like the machines of dreams by Marcello Chiarenza<\/strong> while the evening programm \u2018Instancabili Adulti\u2019<\/strong> for adults brings on stage international companies and new experimentations .<\/p>\n

Stand-up Comedy at the Teatro a l’Avogaria<\/h2>\n

The Stand-Up Comedy<\/strong> de l’Avogaria are appointments with an uncensored comedy reserved to an adult audience by the Venetian Nicol\u00f2 Falcone<\/strong>, comedian of Comedy Central IT<\/a>, who organizes these exhibitions to be able to publicly say bad things undisturbed.<\/p>\n
