Saturday, March 30th, the Carlton Hotel on the Grand Canal will be transformed into a Sartorial Lounge: six creative artists will present their works in fashion, craftsmanship and design.<\/h2>\n

Overlooking the Grand Canal, with pastel colours, Venetian stuccos, Murano glass decorations and a panoramic rooftop terrace, the Carlton Hotel on the Grand Canal<\/strong><\/a> is the ideal location for an event dedicated to the world of Fashion.<\/p>\n

Saturday 30th March from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm –<\/strong> thanks to Venice Fashion Week<\/strong> – the hotel on the Grand Canal will be transformed into the perfect setting for the Creative Woman’s Club<\/strong> event: a Sartorial Lounge dedicated to the work of six creative artists committed to craftsmanship, design and fashion.<\/p>\n

Guests to the event will be able to admire the collections, all made by female designers, make a \u2018brindisi\u2019 with Serenissima Opere<\/strong> wines by Villa Sandi<\/strong><\/a> and taste handmade sweets by Pasticceria Giott<\/strong>o.<\/p>\n

Here are the protagonists of the Creative’s Woman Club!<\/h3>\n

Nicoletta Lucerna: corsets for every occasion<\/h2>\n

In her small shop near Santi Giovanni e Paolo, Nicoletta Lucerna<\/strong> produces her clothes with cleverness and passion, in a perfect harmony<\/strong> with the traditions of the city, well known for the eclectic Carnival & Theatre\u2019s costumes.<\/p>\n

Among Nicoletta’s creations there are the Corsetti<\/strong>, a typical traditional accessory. These are presented by the fashion designer in a contemporary key<\/strong>; fine fabrics, colours and style are always being carefully selected. The result is the production of haute couture corsets: in silk, velvet or leather, with flounces, laces or bows for a timeless look.<\/p>\n

Micaela Charme and the fur revolution<\/h2>\n

Micaela Charme<\/strong> transforms your fur into a green garment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Michela Ambrosi<\/strong> – founder of the Micaela Charme<\/strong> brand – thanks to her intensive creativity has decided to recover old furs<\/strong> and give them a new modern reinterpretation: the result is a light, colourful and decidedly glamorous garment.<\/p>\n

The fur is no longer prohibited, it becomes ecological: no animal is sacrificed and a garment that is now d\u00e9mod\u00e9es, acquires a new meaning, thanks to Michela’s interpretation.<\/p>\n

Micaela Charme offers recycle events<\/strong> throughout Italy; inviting customers to recreate together a new possible use for those furs that otherwise would end up wasted in the garbage.<\/p>\n

New fashionable models and colours ensure customers a very high quality fur, but Micaela Charme can transform<\/strong> also your old furs into stoles, bags, collars and hats.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marisa Convento and the art of \u2018impirar\u2019.<\/h2>\n

The word “Impiraressa”<\/strong> derives from the Venetian dialect and in particular from the verb “impirar”, which means “to thread” and indicates an exclusively female profession. The Impiraressa threads the beads<\/strong>, which are the glass pearls produced in Murano. Marisa Convento adopts the tradition of threading and composes jewellery<\/strong>, embroidery, flowers<\/strong> and corals with pearls and glass beads. For Venice Fashion Week<\/strong>, Marisa’s atelier is moving to the Creative Club at the Hotel Carlton to show the art of “impirar” to the public.<\/p>\n

Lucia Spampinato and the union between Sicily and Venice<\/h2>\n

Lucia Spampinato<\/strong> aspires to an artistic and historical union<\/strong> between Sicily and Venice<\/strong>, two islands very different in customs and traditions but that, if joint and compared one to the other, can become the starting point for a mutual cultural growth.<\/p>\n

It is only from a comparison that something new can be born; as in the case of Lucia. Her idea is to create straw handbags<\/strong>, as in the Sicilian tradition, but embellished with velvets, silks<\/strong> and Venetian pearl<\/strong>s.<\/p>\n

On each bag there is a portrait of a woman:<\/strong> the print of a biblical heroine of the Renaissance, of Leonardo\u2019s angels and of Botticelli’s hymn to beauty.<\/p>\n

Kristina MC: lightness and wearability for petite limited edition art objects<\/h2>\n

From fashion journalist to product designer, Cristina Maria Caione<\/strong> presents her collection of mini-bags,<\/strong> strictly Made in Italy, at the Creative Club<\/strong>. After a career as a fashion journalist, she decided to devote her life to product design and in 2017 she founded the Kristina Mc brand<\/strong>: mini-bags and jewellery, each single creation is designed to be a limited edition<\/strong> piece.<\/p>\n

Small art objects that are inspired by ideals of lightness and wearability and that are adaptable to the new trends season after season.<\/p>\n

Colour contrasts, research of carefully selected materials from the world of leather goods<\/strong>, fashion and furnishings such as tassels, calves, kids, brocades, jacquards, gabardines, embroideries all come together to create objects that are an extraordinary blend art and fashion.<\/p>\n
