A show open to all who wish to take up the challenge of creating a pluralistic common ground, visualised by one or more people at the same time, playing different roles and wearing different masks to bring out different social constellations.<\/p>\n<p>On 8 and 9 November, <a href=\"https:\/\/ecc-italy.eu\/locations\/palazzomichiel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Palazzo Michiel<\/a> is offering a workshop for students and glass art lovers. As part of the <strong>Time Space Existence<\/strong> exhibition at Giardini della Marinaressa: The First Circle of Paradise by B<strong>j\u00f8rn\u00e5dal Arkitektstudio, Hans-Petter Bj\u00f8rn\u00e5da<\/strong>l is organising a workshop on glass engraving for the Venice and Norwegian Lofoten Islands students, in collaboration with Bod\u00f8 &#8211; European Capital of Culture 2024 &#8211; and glass artist <strong>Geir Morten Karlsen<\/strong> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glassforum.no\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Glassforum<\/a>. The glass spheres created during the workshop will become part of the installation at the Giardini della Marinaressa.<\/p>\n<p>On 15 and 16 November, also at Palazzo Michiel, a symposium is scheduled from 2 pm to 7 pm on the theme of housing typologies and the notion of architectural crisis in three different urban contexts:<strong> London, Santiago and Shanghai.<\/strong> A comparison to understand how market dynamics have taken over housing production. A project by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship on the Venetian and Veneto craft heritage. A tribute to Venice and its productive enterprises told in a book as a testimony and exhibition document.<\/p>\n<p>Participating with the author: <strong>Emanuela Bassetti, Alberto Cavalli, Renata Codello, Federica Muzzarelli and Toto Bergamo Rossi<\/strong>, director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.venetianheritage.eu\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Venetian Heritage Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Luigi Nono at the Giudecca<\/h3>\n<p>Fourth edition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luiginono.it\/eventi\/festival\/festival-luigi-nono-alla-giudecca-2021\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Festival Luigi Nono<\/a> at the Giudecca, which for the whole month of November will celebrate the great Venetian <strong>composer Luigi Nono<\/strong>. An interdisciplinary project, to be listened to and watched, for an extraordinary experience: music, dance, photographic exhibitions, projections of audiovisual documentation, meetings with students, readings and a round table that offer an immersive approach to the historical and social knowledge of Luigi Nono at Giudecca from the 1950s to the present day.<\/p>\n<h3>Gillo Dorfles \u201cGhiribizzi\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>Opening on 12 November 2021 is the exhibition (until 31 January 2022) at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cini.it\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cini Foundation<\/a> curated by<strong> Aldo Colonetti and Luigi Sansone<\/strong>, a collection of twenty drawings made by Gillo Dorfles a few months before his death. It is a festivity much loved by Venetians and pilgrims from all over the world. A typical traditional dish is the &#8216;<strong>castradina<\/strong>&#8216;: an ancient dish of salted and smoked mutton used for a soup seasoned with savoy cabbage, onions, and wine.<\/p>\n<p>To celebrate the Venetian paintings of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gallerieaccademia.it\/festa-della-salute-apertura-straordinaria-serale\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gallerie dell&#8217;Accademia<\/a>, will remain open until late evening on Sunday 21 November 2021. (Last entry will be at 10:15 pm).<\/p>\n<p>On this day in Venice two great events will be launched and two are closing. Let&#8217;s have a look at them together:<\/p>\n<h3>Venini at Le stanze del vetro<\/h3>\n<p>Tapio Wirkkala and Toni Zuccheri at Venini is the double autumn exhibition of <a href=\"https:\/\/lestanzedelvetro.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Le stanze del vetro<\/a>, curated by <strong>Marino Barovier<\/strong>, opening on 21 November (until 13 March 2022). A tribute to the production of the 1960s by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.venini.com\/eu\/it\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Venini<\/a>, the historic Murano glass company, and to two of its great artists and designers with distinct personalities, who marked and characterized the glassworks&#8217; offerings with new essential and colorful models.<\/p>\n<h3>Venice Architecture Biennale<\/h3>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t had time to see the 1<a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/biennale-architettura-venezia-2021\/\">7th. The event is the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> of December. <strong>Andrea Brigaglia<\/strong> (University of Naples l&#8217;Orientale) will provide the historical and theoretical framework of calligraphy in the Islamic world, with a particular focus on the production of manuscripts. The workshop will be led by the Italian Jordanian artist <strong>Eyas Alshayeb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For information and contacts: <strong>Francesco Piraino<\/strong> of the Study Centre for Comparative Civilisations and Spirituality, <a href=\"mailto:francesco.piraino@cini.it\">francesco.piraino@cini.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Venice Cocktail Week<\/h3>\n<p>From 13 to 19 December comes for the first time in Venice the Cocktail Week, founded in London in 2008 and brought to Italy by <strong>Paola Mencarelli<\/strong> with the format of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.florencecocktailweek.it\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Florence Cocktail Week<\/a>. Seven intense days of meetings and sharing in the 26 best cocktail bars in Venice, master classes and night shifts with internationally renowned guests. An opportunity to discover new flavours and Venetian venues, from a different point of view away from the more traditional one we have been used to until now.
