Ma\u00eetre d&#8217;art and floral paruri\u00e8re, S\u00e9verina has been creating handmade silk flowers for haute couture in her atelier in Normandy since 1998. She works for the most important French haute couture maisons, and collaborates with the Paris Opera and cinema.<\/p>\n<p>650 Silk Roses is an exhibition designed by S\u00e9verina for the Tokyo Rose Festival in Japan, now on show at the Magazzino Gallery from 19 to 26 October. The collection is inspired by the roses painted by the Duchesse de Montebello di Winterhalter in a painting of Empress Eug\u00e9nie &#8211; the spirit of the Second Empire par excellence &#8211; for the 1855 Universal Exhibition in Paris.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nadia Syrkova<br \/>\n<\/strong>Born in St Petersburg, raised in Venice, and educated at Central Saint Martins in London, Nadia Syrkova is the mind and hand behind Syrk Design.<\/p>\n<p>In each hat that takes shape in Nadia&#8217;s expert hands, her love of theatrical costumes and her passion for decoration come together. In her Atelier in Castello, Nadia infuses each hat with her creativity and her perpetual search for new materials that are 100% Made in Italy, constantly exploring different techniques.
