fashion<\/h2>\n<p>Over 80 creatives, 50 locations, more than 40 Italian and international brands, 5 conferences, 3,000 accredited guests including visitors, journalists and buyers, unconventional fashion shows, the first <b>artisan accessories salon<\/b>, a showroom day, <b>the conscious shopping weekend<\/b> with over <b>40 boutiques and ateliers open<\/b> in all districts, and a day dedicated to <b>sustainable tourism<\/b> aboard <b>Repower<\/b>&#8216;s electric boat: the 2022 edition of Venice Fashion Week presented <b>Venice as the place for debate on the future<\/b>.  <\/p>\n<p>With the declared intent to <b>turn the fashion scene&#8217;s spotlight on haute couture<\/b> and high-level artisan crafts, the event, in its tenth year, presented to an international audience <b>the Made in Venice version of fashion<\/b>: a compelling sartorial story made of <b>precious products, masters, cultural contaminations<\/b>, and Venice as a source of href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/venicefashionweek-19-29-october-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venice Fashion Week<\/a> promoted by <b>Venezia da Vivere<\/b>, a network for communication, cultural projects, and event organization.<\/p>\n<p>The common thread of the event is <b>sustainability<\/b>, a crucial theme in a Venice seeking new models for <b>quality tourism<\/b>. The challenge involves <b>enhancing high-level craftsmanship<\/b>, which helps unite the heritage of the past with new horizons for sustainable lifestyles. <\/p>\n<p>Fashion meets craftsmanship in <b>hotel suites, workshops, and art galleries<\/b>: artists <b>S\u00e9verina Lartigue<\/b> and the very young <b>Nadia Syrkova<\/b> transformed the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palazzocontarinipolignac.com\/magazzino-gallery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b>Magazzino Gallery<\/b><\/a> at Palazzo Polignac into a workshop for silk flowers for haute couture and handmade hats; the partnership between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.livianaconti.com\/control\/index\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b>Liviana Conti<\/b><\/a> and the artisan company <a href=\"https:\/\/lunardellivenezia.net\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b>Lunardelli Venezia<\/b><\/a> produced a fashion exhibition in the <b>carpentry workshop<\/b> and furnishing accessories in the boutique. To present the new collection of sartorial kimonos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/the-ocean-takes-center-stage-at-venice-fashion-week-with-antonia-sautter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>In Azur<\/i><\/a>, designer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.antoniasautter.it\/it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b>Antonia Sautter<\/b><\/a> brought her atelier and the artists at work to the Renaissance spaces of Palazzo Nani, the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radissonhotels.com\/en-us\/hotels\/radisson-collection-venice-palazzo-nani?cid=a:se+b:gmb+c:emea+i:local+e:rco+d:cese+h:ITVCENAN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><b>Radisson Hotel<\/b><\/a> in Venice.<\/p>\n<p><b>For three days the<\/b> Sebastiano Ricci suite at Palazzo Sagredo Hotel hosted the art of <b>Burano lace from Atelier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.martinavidal.com\/it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Martina Vidal<\/a><\/b>. The objective of the event is<\/i> <b><i>to transform the city into a laboratory of creative talents<\/i><\/b><i>, including university students, from all over the world.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;A<\/i> <b><i>communication repositioning of Venice<\/i><\/b> <i>is underway. We have worked to identify new forces, energies, and areas to cultivate. Among these is fashion, both in terms of fashion shows and the enhancement of territorial excellence&#8221;<\/i> were the words of <b>Councilor<\/b> <b>Simone Venturini<\/b>: <i>&#8220;Venice&#8217;s calendar is now filled with fashion events, initiatives of great international appeal. A discerning tourism arrives here seeking authentic, exclusive, and unique creations, like those of our artisans in the fashion, wood, jewelry, and glass sectors.<\/i> <b><i>Tourism and craftsmanship together<\/i><\/b> <i>therefore<\/i> <b><i>to elevate Venice<\/i><\/b><i>, which now also presents itself as the capital of sustainable fashion.
