and visions, such as the unreleased 1974 audio of Pasolini<\/h2>\n<p>The Venice Biennale opens a new channel of storytelling: <strong>the podcast <em>La Biennale on Air<\/em><\/strong> which gathers the voices of artists, directors, performers, curators, and researchers, creating a <strong>sound archive of contemporary culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A project for an <strong>accessible and contemporary Biennale<\/strong> created to recount its various sectors\u2014<strong>Art, Architecture, Cinema, Dance, Music, Theatre, and Historical Archive<\/strong>\u2014through conversations with protagonists, reflections, and rare archival materials for a global, young, and digital audience.<\/p>\n<p>Available on <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/show\/2VKYyVl28J3cStEMMVw2lc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Spotify<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/la-biennale-on-air\/id1841840848\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Apple from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/the-first-coffee-with-venezia-da-vivere-for-venezia82-the-golden-duo-sorrentino-servillo-opens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">82nd International Film Festival<\/a> to <strong>reflect on the present and future of cinema<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Recounting it are: <strong>Guillermo del Toro, master of visionary storytelling, Werner Herzog with his poetic rigor, and Jude Law reflecting on the role of the actor within a system in transformation<\/strong>. Director <strong>Alberto Barbera<\/strong> guides this choral narrative in which the profound meaning of the Film Festival emerges as an observatory on the world. <\/p>\n<p>The focus then shifts to architecture with <strong><em>AquaPra\u00e7a<\/em>, a project presented by Carlo Ratti for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/biennale-architettura-2025-the-intelligence-building-the-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">19th International Architecture Exhibition<\/a><\/strong>: an urban installation that invites us to rethink water as a public and relational space.<\/p>\n<p>From the Historical Archive comes a <strong>rare audio recording of Aldo Rossi<\/strong>, recounting his <strong><em>Teatro del Mondo<\/em><\/strong>: a floating structure <strong>built for the first International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale in 1980<\/strong>, conceived to represent the public and theatrical soul of the city.<\/p>\n<p>This episode also discusses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/events-in-venice-june-2025-a-guide-to-the-appointments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Herds<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, a powerful performance that brought life-sized animals and dancers moving through Venice, transforming the city&#8217;s streets into a visual narrative about climate and life. Composer <strong>Caterina Barbieri,<\/strong> director of the festival, <strong>explains how music today is increasingly connected to technology<\/strong>, memory, and spirituality. Sound becomes a physical experience that traverses the body and space.  <\/p>\n<p>Joining her are artists such as <strong>Meredith Monk<\/strong>, awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement for a life dedicated to vocal and theatrical experimentation; <strong>Actress and Carl Craig<\/strong>, connected to the electronic scene but capable of exploring cross-genre languages; and <strong>Fennesz<\/strong>, who works on the boundary between music, noise, and silence.<\/p>\n<p>Two voices from the past: actor <strong>Robert Redford<\/strong>, with an excerpt from his speech at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/74-mostra-del-cinema-di-venezia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2017 Film Festival<\/a>, in which he reflected on the role of the actor and the need to tell true stories; and historian <strong>Peter Cowie<\/strong>, who recalls the figure of Orson Welles, recounting anecdotes and insights from one of cinema&#8217;s great innovators.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 3 \u2013 Pasolini, Battiato, and the robot Alter3<\/h3>\n<p>In the third episode, online from November 27, <strong>an original 1974 audio excerpt with Pier Paolo Pasolini is heard for the first time<\/strong>. Recorded during a conference at the Biennale, his words, left in the original language, come from the Historical Archive\u2013<a href=\"https:\/\/www.labiennale.org\/it\/asac\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ASAC<\/a>. Pasolini reflects on the role of cinema between art and market, in a discourse that still sounds relevant today.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Willem Dafoe<\/strong>, actor and director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/willem-dafoe-opens-the-biennale-international-theatre-dance-and-music-festivals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biennale Theatre<\/a>, recounts his personal relationship with Pasolini&#8217;s work and with the film <em>Pasolini<\/em> directed by Abel Ferrara, in which he portrayed him.<\/p>\n<p>Music returns as protagonist with <strong>Malika Ayane, who recounts between spirituality and poetic vision the project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/late-november-in-venice-glass-art-music-and-turbulence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Arcipelago Battiato<\/em><\/a>, a collective tribute to Franco Battiato<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The episode closes with two different moments linked by the theme of transformation: <strong>a dialogue between the humanoid robot Alter3 and scientist Luc Steels<\/strong> on the possibility that artificial intelligence might develop consciousness, and an <strong>excerpt from Dwayne Johnson&#8217;s press conference for the film <a href=\"https:\/\/www.veneziadavivere.com\/en\/the-golden-lion-for-lifetime-achievement-to-kim-novak-opens-the-second-week-of-venice82\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Smashing Machine<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, presented at #Venezia82.
