Free admission for everyone to the Procuratie, The House of The Human Safety Net in St. Mark’s Square: exhibitions, caf\u00e9, library, children’s museum and new games to discover your potential<\/h2>\n

The House of The Human Safety Net, open free to all<\/strong>, is a place to breathe, observe, and connect. Two interactive exhibitions, air-conditioned spaces, a caf\u00e9 overlooking St. Mark’s Square<\/strong>, library, bookshop, venue for activities for children and families<\/strong>, interiors designed by David Chipperfield<\/b>: three years after its inauguration, the Procuratie become free admission<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The multiscope of curiosity<\/h3>\n

Discover the best qualities in yourself and others<\/strong>: A World of Potential<\/strong>, the interactive exhibition that helps you discover your potential through games, challenges at the Hope roulette, exercises to train lateral thinking, and surprises for Teamwork, is now enriched with new multisensory experiences.<\/p>\n

Curated by Orna Cohen<\/strong> of Dialogue Social Enterprise<\/strong><\/a> and designed by Studio Migliore+Servetto<\/strong><\/a>, A World of Potential invites play with concepts such as creativity, perseverance, gratitude, curiosity, hope, social intelligence<\/b>, and teamwork<\/b>, translated into 16 multimedia installations\u2014both analog and digital\u2014capable of engaging diverse audiences and generating reflection and conversation in six languages<\/strong>: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Chinese. Visitors can thus interact with the extraordinary stories of cultural figures of our time<\/b>, as well as the true stories of beneficiaries, volunteers, and staff of The Human Safety Net. <\/p>\n

An inclusive and accessible space<\/h3>\n

The Procuratie<\/a> features a 230-seat auditorium<\/strong>, hosting conferences, screenings, and dialogues on social innovation. The Caf\u00e9<\/strong>, managed by Illy, offers refreshing breaks with a view of St. Mark’s Square. An open-shelf library<\/strong> allows for free reading in child-friendly design spaces<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Hub is the operational space<\/strong> where working groups such as city associations, partner NGOs, and other entities meet for joint projects, with the aim of developing sustainability and social inclusion projects<\/strong> and fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, profit and non-profit.<\/p>\n

The new Museum Shop offers books and charitable design objects, and the exhibition spaces host the interactive exhibition A World of Potential<\/em> and temporary exhibitions such as Dreams in Transit<\/em>.<\/p>\n

When art speaks of migration<\/h3>\n

Dreams in Transit<\/strong><\/em> explores the period when a person, after undertaking a migratory journey, faces the crucial phase of searching for a new identity in a new country.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, open until March 15, 2026, represents the first edition of The Parliament of the Invisibles<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, a global initiative conceived by artist Anish Kapoor<\/strong><\/a> that aims to bring the most marginalized voices to the center of public life.<\/p>\n

This first edition, After Migration<\/strong><\/em>, explores the consequences of contemporary migratory phenomena through the works of Ange Leccia, Leila Alaoui, Lorraine de Sagazan & Anouk Maugein<\/strong> and Sarah Makharine<\/strong>. The artists have used photography, video, drawing and installations to illuminate the hidden stories of migrants, working directly with them and grassroots associations to collect dreams, record voices and capture desires, strength and the will to rebuild. <\/p>\n

The exhibition, curated by the Art for Action Foundation<\/strong><\/a>, connects to The Human Safety Net’s For Refugees<\/strong><\/em> program, which supports the integration of refugees through work and entrepreneurship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Donations make a difference<\/h3>\n

Every euro donated to The Human Safety Net goes directly to the field, free of administrative deductions. Since 2017, this global movement has reached over 800,000 people in 25 countries through two concrete programs: support for vulnerable families<\/strong> with young children (0-6 years old) and the integration of refugees<\/strong> into the workforce. <\/p>\n

The numbers tell true stories: 650 startups founded by refugees, 1,500 jobs created, 56 NGOs active daily in 23 countries. The network of 85 partners, including NGOs and social enterprises, works every day to unlock the potential of those living in precarious conditions. <\/p>\n

The For Refugees program operates in 6 countries with 30 NGOs, while the family program focuses on the early years of children’s lives, a crucial period for development. Both contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, from child health (SDG 3 and 4) to the creation of work and sustainable communities (SDG 8 and 11), demonstrating that impact arises from collaboration between different countries and stakeholders (SDG 17). <\/p>\n
