From September 13 to 21, 2025, The Venice Glass Week returns with #TheMagicOfGlass: nine days of exhibitions, installations, workshops, and meetings dedicated to the art of glass in Venice and Murano.<\/h2>\n

A record number of applications from 54 countries<\/strong> for the ninth edition of the festival promoted by the City of Venice, Fondazione Musei Civici, Le Stanze del Vetro \u2013 Fondazione Giorgio Cini, Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti, and Consorzio Promovetro Murano.<\/p>\n

The program opens at the Glass Museum<\/strong> in Murano with Vero Casanova<\/strong>, an immersive exhibition curated by Matteo Silverio, celebrating the 300th anniversary of Giacomo Casanova’s birth. Also at the Glass Museum, visitors can see Storie di fabbriche. Storie di famiglie. FRATELLI TOSO<\/strong>, a retrospective dedicated to one of Murano’s most important glassworks between the 19th and 20th centuries. <\/p>\n

On the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Le Stanze del Vetro<\/strong> hosts 1932\u20131942 Murano Glass and the Venice Biennale<\/strong>, curated by Marino Barovier.<\/p>\n

Among the most anticipated novelties is the collective exhibition The Venice Glass Week HUB Under35<\/strong>, held for the first time this year at the Galleria in Piazza San Marco<\/strong> of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, featuring thirty emerging young artists and designers from around the world presenting innovative visions of artistic glass, reinterpreting a millenary tradition with contemporary languages.<\/p>\n

At Palazzo Franchetti<\/strong> from September 16 to 18, the Study Days on Venetian Glass<\/strong> promoted by the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti will take place.<\/p>\n

Greatly anticipated is Tristano di Robilant InAcademia<\/strong> at the Gallerie dell\u2019Accademia; twelve glass sculptures by Tristano di Robilant engage in dialogue with Venetian Renaissance masterpieces and invite a new interpretation of the permanent collection.<\/p>\n
