Fashion Revolution Italia celebrates its 10th anniversary and brings the Fashion Revolution Tour to Venice: a gathering at the Giardini Reali in Piazza San Marco and an itinerary discovering international fashion designers and Venetian master artisans<\/h2>\n

For its tenth anniversary, Fashion Revolution Italia<\/strong><\/a> inaugurates the Fashion Revolution Tour<\/strong> in Venice: a cultural itinerary to discover fashion sustainability through the craftsmanship of Venetian artisans and contemporary designers. <\/span><\/p>\n

“Venice is one of the world’s historic textile capitals, a port of arrival and a hub for the dissemination of culture that has influenced the fashion system over the centuries<\/em>,” states Marina Spadafora<\/strong>, Country Coordinator and President of Fashion Revolution Italy, the world’s leading ethical fashion movement since 2014.<\/p>\n

The day begins at 2 PM at the Giardini Reali<\/a> in Piazza San Marco<\/strong>, a historic meeting place restored and reopened to the public by the Venice Gardens Foundation, with a talk by Marina Spadafora<\/strong> (Fashion Revolution Italia) with the participation of Orsola de Castro<\/strong>, co-founder of Fashion Revolution, and the partners who contributed to the project: Laura Scarpa<\/strong> (Venezia da Vivere and Venice Fashion Week<\/a>), Sara Sozzani Maino<\/strong> (Fondazione Sozzani<\/a>), Matteo Ward<\/strong> (Fashion Revolution Italia and WR\u00c5D<\/a>) and Alessandra Vaccari<\/strong> (IUAV University of Venice<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Designers and workshops with the Fashion Revolution Tour<\/h3>\n

After the talk, we will set off to discover the designers and workshops of the Fashion Revolution Tour<\/a>: <\/span><\/p>\n

the brand Dennj<\/strong> at the Attombri<\/strong> workshop, Lessico Familiare<\/strong> at Tabinotabi<\/strong>, designer Felipe Fiallo<\/strong> with his innovative sneakers at the Ramosalso<\/strong> atelier of tailor Demis Marin, designer Marcello Pipitone<\/strong> at the historic printing house VeneziaStampa<\/strong>, the projects of Sanaz Nataj Couture<\/strong> and Made for a Woman<\/strong> at the carpentry workshop Lunardelli Venezia<\/strong>, the brand Cavia<\/strong> at Paperoowl<\/strong>, where we will toast with wines from Fiorotto 1934<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Part of the itinerary, which will be open until April 29, will also include Palazzo Mora<\/strong><\/a>, which will host the work Hope Dress<\/em><\/strong> by Elaine Foster-Gandey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The tour is free and open to everyone. With a digital map<\/a>, we will depart around 3:30 PM from the Giardini Reali. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Fashion Revolution Tour is organized in collaboration with Venice Fashion Week, Venezia da Vivere, IUAV University of Venice and Sara Sozzani Maino, is sponsored by the Municipality of Venice<\/strong> and part of the celebrations of the Ministry for Made in Italy<\/strong> and is part of the Venice Fashion Week 2024 program.<\/p>\n
