Anticipation is high to discover the winners. On the red carpet, numerous young fans call out the names of directors and actors as they parade past, trying to identify the potential winners. In the press room, the atmosphere is one of frantic expectation.   <\/p>\n<p>Predictions are being ventured, and the atmosphere is akin to a stadium. On the final red carpet, the members of the jury parade by. <strong>Damien Chazelle<\/strong> signs a few autographs. Tiziana Rocca and Alba Parietti arrive, the latter in a red dress. Various delegations arrive: <strong>Michel Franco<\/strong> with <strong>Sarsgaard<\/strong> and <strong>Gyllenhaal<\/strong>, who stop to pose for photographers. <strong>Matteo Garrone<\/strong>, <strong>Yorgos Lanthimos<\/strong>, <strong>Claudia Gerini<\/strong>, and many others arrive.    <\/p>\n<p>Finally, the Spanish director <strong>J.A. the <strong>Special Jury Prize<\/strong> goes to <em>Flow<\/em> by <strong>Adriaan Lockman<\/strong>. Finally, the <strong>Venice Immersive Grand Prize<\/strong> goes to <em>Songs for a Passerby<\/em> by <strong>Celine Daemen<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>The Lion of the Future and the Lifetime Achievement Lions<\/h3>\n<p>The international Jury of the <strong>\u201cLuigi De Laurentiis\u201d Venice Award for a Debut Film<\/strong>, led by French director <strong>Alice Diop<\/strong>\u2014winner of this same award and the Silver Lion last year\u2014has assigned the Lion of the Future \u2013 \u201cLuigi De Laurentiis\u201d Venice Award for a Debut Film, and a prize of 100,000 USD provided by Filmauro (presented by Claudia Gerini), to <em>Love Is a Gun<\/em> by <strong>Lee Hong-Chi<\/strong>, screened in the International Critics&#8217; Week<\/strong> is <em>Malqueridas<\/em> by <strong>Tana Gilbert<\/strong>, which also won the <strong>Mario Serandrei \u2013 Hotel Saturnia Award<\/strong> for Best Technical Contribution.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Audience Award<\/strong> went to <em>Hoard<\/em> by <strong>Luna Carmoon<\/strong>, which also won the <strong>Verona Film Club Award<\/strong> for the most innovative film.<\/p>\n<p>For the SIC@SIC (Short Italian Cinema at the International Critics&#8217; Week) short film showcase, the awarded films were <em>Las memorias perdidas de los \u00e1rboles<\/em> by <strong>Antonio La Camera<\/strong> (Best Film), <em>La linea del terminatore<\/em> by <strong>Gabriele Biasi<\/strong>, and the delightful and funny <em>We Should All Be Futurists<\/em> by <strong>Angela Norelli<\/strong> (Best Technical Contribution).<\/p>\n<p>Three films were awarded within the Giornate degli Autori (Venice Days):<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>GDA Director\u2019s Award<\/strong>: goes to <em>Vampire humaniste cherche suicidant consentant<\/em> by <strong>Ariane Louis-Seize<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Europa Cinemas Label Award<\/strong> to <em>Photophobia<\/em> by <strong>Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd <\/strong>and <strong>Pavol Pekarc\u00edk <\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; <strong>Audience Award<\/strong> to <em>Quitter la nuit (Through the Night)<\/em> by <strong>Delphine Girard<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the films in this section, the splendid <em>Backstage<\/em> by <strong>Afef Ben Mahmoud<\/strong> and <strong>Khalil Benkirane<\/strong> also received recognition, winning the <strong>Cinema &amp; Arts Award<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There are also many other collateral awards that, as every year, were assigned here at the Lido during the final days of the Festival.
