Venice attracts young talent from all over the world and becomes a hub for innovative sustainability solutions with illuminem, an under-35 company that has moved its headquarters to Giudecca<\/h2>\n

With its mission to provide quality sustainability information to everyone, illuminem<\/strong> is one of the most widely read sustainability platforms in the world (with 150,000 users from 110 countries).<\/p>\n

Born from the idea of Florentine Andrea Gori<\/b> and supported by Maria Vittoria Bassetto<\/b> from Padua, illuminem<\/a> has already made its mark in Venice, moving its headquarters to Venice<\/b> and bringing over ten young talents<\/b> from major world capitals.<\/p>\n

Among its products, illuminem, which has over 150,000 users in 110 countries<\/b>, is the creator of the ESG Alliance<\/b>, the first global alliance with more than 1,000 companies committed to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals, and illuminem Voices<\/b>, the largest network of sustainability experts, featuring over 600 personalities, including climate ministers and CEOs of companies committed to sustainability, writing exclusively for illuminem readers. The company was awarded as one of the “Top Digital Startups in Europe<\/b>” by AngelList<\/b> and as one of the “greatest innovators in Italy<\/b>” by Startup Italia<\/b>. <\/p>\n

The opening of the Venetian offices was celebrated last month on Giudecca<\/b> in the SS. Cosma e Damiano complex<\/b>. Participants included Simone Venturini<\/b>; Eugenio Giani<\/b>, President of Tuscany; Corrado Clini<\/b>, former Minister of the Environment of the Italian Republic; Erik Solheim,<\/b> former Minister of International Development of Norway and Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, and several other representatives of international institutions and companies. <\/p>\n

\u201cAt the World Energy Council, we recognized illuminem’s ability to bring sustainability and energy news and perspectives to so many citizens around the world.\u201d <\/i>Said Angela Wilkinson, CEO of the World Energy Council.<\/p>\n

This was emphasized by the Councilor for Economic Development of the Municipality of Venice, Simone Venturini<\/b>, during the conference The Remote in the Future of Venice. Smart working: an opportunity for work and residency<\/em>, where he explained that Venice must focus on creating new jobs<\/b> to attract new minds and turn the city into an attractive hub for young talent<\/b> capable of developing innovative solutions to global problems<\/b> such as sustainability.<\/p>\n
