Sustainability lights up the Venice Film Festival red carpet with the green dress A Dress For Venice<\/h2>\n

The greenest dress on the 2023 Venice Film Festival red carpet.<\/strong> This is how newspapers described the dress worn by Margot Sikabonyi<\/strong> on the festival’s red carpet.<\/p>\n

It is a sustainable dress crafted with tailoring techniques in biodegradable Bemberg\u2122<\/strong> fabric and enriched with antique Burano lace, created to raise awareness about the urgency of sustainable fashion and the value of craftsmanship.<\/p>\n

The dress was designed by conscious designer Tiziano Guardini<\/strong> with illustrations by artist Jacopo Ascari<\/strong> and made of Bemberg\u2122,<\/strong> a next-generation biodegradable fiber produced exclusively in Japan by Asahi<\/strong> Kasei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The greenest dress of the Venice Film Festival worn by actress Margot Sikabonyi at the Lido<\/h3>\n

The project was presented during a press conference at the Spazio della Regione del Veneto by Elena Donazzan<\/strong>, Regional Councilor for Education, Training, Labor, and Equal Opportunities, Laura Scarpa<\/strong> and Lorenzo Cinotti<\/strong> of Veneziadavivere. Also present was Ermelinda Damiano<\/strong>, President of the Venice City Council. <\/p>\n

The A Dress For Venice project is an entire sustainable collection produced by Martina Vidal Venezia<\/strong>, which has been producing Burano lace for four generations. The collection is created in partnership with a supply chain of companies identified by the Tavolo Veneto della Moda<\/strong>, including Neris Beniamina Zecchin<\/strong>, National and Regional President of Tailors and Stylists for Confartigianato and member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori. <\/p>\n

The project is supported by the global platform C.L.A.S.S.<\/strong> (Creativity Lifestyle and Sustainable Synergy) and benefits from the partnership of Camera Buyer Italia<\/strong> and the media partnership of The Italian R\u00eave<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The entire capsule collection of the third edition of A Dress for Venice will be presented on Friday, October 20, at Venice Fashion Week<\/strong><\/a>, the event dedicated to tailoring, craftsmanship, and sustainable fashion, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and will take place in Venice from October 19 to 28, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The A Dress For Venice project was conceived by Venezia da Vivere in 2019 to celebrate 1,600 years of Venetian craftsmanship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Dress for Venice is under the patronage of the City of Venice, the Veneto Region, the Tavolo Veneto della Moda, and Homo Faber – Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d\u2019Arte, which promotes fine craftsmanship and savoir-faire worldwide.<\/p>\n
