The exhibition showcases artworks and textiles, including the evocative <strong>Fuji Tsubaki Kimono<\/strong>. Featuring a special contribution by Franco Puppato.  <\/p>\n<p>Yusuke Akamatsu was born in Ibaraki, Osaka, in 1967 and resides in Paris. As an artist, he experiments with various forms of expression, including film, photography, literary storytelling, and painting. After being paraded among the works of the Don\u00e0 dalle Rose collection, they will become part of the exhibition curated by Elica Art with the Fondazione Don\u00e0 dalle Rose in the <strong>Bias Gallery<\/strong> space inside the Palace, <strong>until October 7, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition and the fashion show testify to the <strong>union between art and the kimono<\/strong>, a symbolic garment of Japanese culture that originates from the Kosode, the garment worn by high-ranking women in the imperial court from the 8th to the 12th century in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>The meaning of the Fuji Tsubaki brand is explained by its designer, <strong>Tsubaki Ito<\/strong>. The surname Ito is written with two characters, and the second character can also be read as &#8220;Fuji.&#8221; This is where the brand name &#8220;Fuji Tsubaki&#8221; comes from. &#8220;Fuji&#8221; means &#8220;wisteria flower,&#8221; while &#8220;Tsubaki&#8221; means &#8220;camellia flower.&#8221;   <\/p>\n<p>The fashion show for the brand Fuji Tsubaki, designed by the artist Yusuke Akamatsu, will be accompanied for the occasion by the music of <strong>Fusanosuke Kondo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The guest of honor at the event is the Venetian tailor <strong>Franco Puppato<\/strong>, awarded Master of Arts and Crafts by the Cologni Foundation and winner of the Arbiter Prize in 2020.
