FITSTIC students from Bologna, specializing in virtual and augmented reality, visited M9 in Mestre to find inspiration and gather new ideas for the innovative projects they are developing for the companies participating in the Upskill Venezia project<\/h2>\n

Upskill Venezia<\/strong>, an acceleration project for cultural and artisanal businesses promoted by the Fondazione di Venezia<\/strong><\/a> in collaboration with Upskill 4.0<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 a spin-off of Ca\u2019 Foscari University of Venice \u2014 brought FITSTIC students from Bologna, who are specializing in virtual and augmented reality, to visit the M9 \u2013 Museum of the 20th Century<\/strong><\/a> in Mestre.<\/p>\n

The various multimedia installations at the museum allowed students to shape their ideas and expand the development of the innovative projects (currently in the prototyping phase) they are managing for the seven Venetian artisanal companies involved in the project as part of their training program.<\/p>\n

The visit to M9 provided the students with an interpretation of how advanced technologies can be used to narrate artisanal expertise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The exhibition sections HOW WE WERE, HOW WE ARE<\/em> and THE ITALIAN WAY OF LIFE<\/em> offer projections and interactivity to showcase social and lifestyle transformations. In THE RACE TO PROGRESS<\/em>, hand-tracking technologies allow visitors to explore the evolution of iconic objects such as the Fiat 500 and reproduce the production phases of major companies. Other sections offer immersive and simulated experiences, ranging from war to a 1970s disco. <\/p>\n
