Venice Fashion Week Digital, Venice, from Friday, June 12 to July 31, 2020. Fashion and craftsmanship for the slow city <\/h2>\n

Venezia da Vivere presents Venice Fashion Week Digital, in Venice from June 12 to July 31, 2020, a project to promote Venice’s creativity and<\/strong> craftsmanship<\/strong> with an open calendar of online events, backstage access, walks through the streets of fashion, live performances<\/strong>, in the most beautiful locations in Venice.<\/p>\n

The opening event is Friday, June 12, 2020<\/strong>. From<\/strong> one of the highest terraces in the city<\/strong> our project begins between sustainable fashion and Venetian haute craftsmanship<\/strong>: a numbered limited edition created by Tiziano Guardini<\/strong>, eco-designer and winner of the Green Carpet Fashion Award, with fabrics from the historic Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua<\/strong> of Venice, and produced by a group of artisan companies from Veneto della Moda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The presentation will take place behind closed doors in the spaces of the St. Regis Venice<\/strong> hotel in San Marco, soon to open, which the online audience will be able to discover in preview. The event will be live on Instagram<\/a> at 12 PM and 6 PM on Friday, June 12, 2020<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The online audience will enter the backstage<\/a><\/strong>, participate in the front row in the creation of performances, films and photo shoots<\/strong>, will be able to dialogue with the designers, purchase products online, witness the creation of an artisan product, discover the most beautiful locations in the city, enter private salons, boutiques, gardens and terraces, immerse themselves in the Venetian lifestyle<\/strong> and toast with us virtually during evening cocktails.<\/p>\n

Venice Fashion Week Digital will be visible on the Instagram, Facebook<\/strong>, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube channels of Veneziadavivere.com and Venicefashionweek.com.<\/p>\n

The program of events for June and July<\/strong> includes a walk with photographers and instagrammers<\/strong> to discover the history of fashion in Venice and new style trends, the creation of a fashion film<\/strong>, an outdoor fashion show<\/strong>, various moments of fashion and photography, and a performance combining glass art, fashion and technology<\/strong> for the days of the Redentore.<\/p>\n

The dates are subject to the opening of hospitality businesses and new legal provisions, and will be announced after June 15 on Instagram, on the web and social media of Venicefashionweek and Veneziadavivere.<\/p>\n

As organizers of public events in Venice for over three decades, we have chosen to embrace the uncertainty of the moment. The future is not written<\/strong> and we create it with words, thoughts and actions, and this is how we have chosen to make this time an opportunity for growth: the fashion week of the future will be accessible<\/strong> online to an ever-growing audience, and thus the eleventh edition, from October 22 to 31, 2020, will be able to welcome the international audience online together with the live audience.<\/p>\n

Venice has changed and more than ever is a slow city<\/strong>. This is a unique and unmissable moment to promote Venice as a quality destination for conscious tourism<\/strong> interested in culture, craftsmanship and fashion. <\/p>\n

Venice Fashion Week is an event created with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Venice<\/b>, the Tavolo Veneto della Moda<\/b> and Associazione Piazza San Marco<\/b>. Technical partner Crisam Make-up Academy<\/b>. <\/p>\n
