Art Night celebrates its 10th anniversary. What will the white night of culture in Venice be like? <\/h2>\n

Art Night Venezia<\/strong><\/a> returns and celebrates 10 years. The white night of Venetian culture is scheduled for Saturday, October 2, from 4:30 PM until midnight<\/strong> with visits, performances, events, museums open at extraordinary hours, and concerts at 90 locations in Venice and Mestre. <\/p>\n

An inclusive and immersive experience conceived and coordinated by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice<\/strong>, with scientific direction by Silvia Burini<\/strong> and coordination by Angela Bianco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Few Previews<\/h3>\n

For the inauguration of the event, in the presence of Antonio Marcomini<\/strong>, Deputy Rector of Ca’ Foscari University, Silvia Burini<\/strong>, Scientific Director of Art Night Venezia, and Angela Bianco<\/strong>, Coordinator of Art Night Venezia, 250 limited edition reproductions<\/strong> will be given away at three different times (4:30 PM, 7:30 PM, and 10:30 PM), digitally reworked by the Emilian artistic collective Vitruvio Virtual Reality<\/strong> and connected to the video installation Venezia 3021<\/strong>, of paintings by Bernardo Bellotto<\/strong>, known as Canaletto. <\/p>\n

The Entrance to the Grand Canal<\/em>, Santa Maria della Salute<\/em>, and The Customs House from Campo Santa Maria Zobenigo<\/em> are reproduced in video through a virtual simulation of the Venice of the future. A project dedicated to Venice’s 1600th anniversary created with more than a thousand images including paintings, short film clips, and engravings.<\/em> <\/p>\n
