Everyone in boats with the second edition of Cinema Barch-in, the Venetian drive-in <\/h2>\n<p><strong>Cinema Barch-In<\/strong> returns, the cinema on the water to watch films, listen to music, and spend time together in boats <strong>from July 24 to 31, 2021<\/strong> in the basin of the  <span class=\"\"><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"it\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"it\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Arsenale in Venice, the ancient shipyard of the Serenissima. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>While waiting for sunset and to begin taking one&#8217;s place in a boat (also guaranteed for those without a boat, by requesting via email <a href=\"mailto:cercoimbarco@cinemabarchin.com\">cercoimbarco@cinemabarchin.com<\/a>), the evenings begin with an <strong>Aperiporto<\/strong> curated by <strong>Campari<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The screening of short films and a musical selection curated by the Venetian icon of reggae music <strong>GialloMan<\/strong> and by <strong>Radio Birikina, Radio PiterPan<\/strong> and <strong>Radio Ca&#8217; Foscari<\/strong> will accompany the mooring phase of the spectators&#8217; boats.<\/p>\n<p>Between a Spritz and a cicchetto with on-board delivery by <strong>Cocai Express<\/strong>, the Venetian food delivery start-up born during the first lockdown, <strong>we will discover the city also through films<\/strong>, all connected to Venice. The festival is dedicated to the city&#8217;s 1600th anniversary. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, June 24<\/strong> from the afternoon, we at Venezia da Vivere will share the <strong>backstage<\/strong> of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cinemabarchin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Barch-in<\/a><\/strong> and the inauguration live, with interviews with the protagonists and coverage of the spaces on the Instagram account @veneziadavivere.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, July 31<\/strong> we will be back at the Arsenale to present the second <strong>Venice Fashion Week Movie<\/strong>. Stay with us! <\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"\">The Program<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"\"><strong>Saturday, July 24<br \/>\n<em>A Ballad of the Salt Sea<\/em><\/strong> by Richard and Liam Danto and Liam Saury <strong>tells the story of Corto Maltese<\/strong>, a charming and romantic sailor, born from the pen of Hugo Pratt.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s7\">The opening evening, created in collaboration with <strong><span class=\"s8\">Fumetteria<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s8\"><strong>Zaz\u00e0<\/strong>, Associazione Culturale<\/span><strong><span class=\"s8\">VeneziaComix<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s8\">, <strong>Creature di Gomma<\/strong><\/span><strong> and <span class=\"s8\">Rai<\/span><\/strong>, pays tribute to the city in its most artistic and poetic dimension by dedicating it to a character linked to the Venetian imagination, born from the pen of <strong>Hugo Pratt<\/strong>. In first screening, the memorable comedy awarded at the Cannes Film Festival in 1964, <em>Seduced and Abandoned<\/em> by Pietro Germi. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>And we could not miss a mention of the <strong>78th Venice International Film Festival of the Biennale<\/strong>, scheduled from September 1 to 11: <strong>we will be there every day to cover backstage and red carpets<\/strong>, stars and behind-the-scenes of the world&#8217;s oldest film festival.<\/p>\n<p>And on <strong>September 3<\/strong> we will share live the world premiere of one of the most anticipated films of the year, <strong><em>Dune<\/em><\/strong>. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, based on the books by Frank Herbert, it is the remake of the iconic 1984 science fiction film by David Lynch, which we recommend everyone rewatch during the summer for discussions, comparisons and nostalgia.
