Mixology in the carpentry workshop with Venice Cocktail Week: Design & Cocktail with Lunardelli and Lino Marchese<\/h2>\n

As part of Venice Cocktail Week<\/strong><\/a>, Venezia da Vivere<\/strong> and Lunardelli Venezia<\/strong><\/a> present a cocktail dedicated to craftsmanship and the 1600th anniversary of Venice, created by Lino Marchese<\/strong>, bar manager of the Blue Bar at Hotel Excelsior<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The invitation of Venice Cocktail Week is to discover Venice through a cocktail itinerary<\/strong><\/a> created for the event; thus, Venezia da Vivere has chosen to bring the art of mixing to an evocative location like Lunardelli Venezia, an exhibition space and carpentry workshop blending craftsmanship, design, and glass.<\/p>\n

Watch the creation live on Tuesday, December 14 from 6 PM<\/strong> on the Instagram profile of @veneziadavivere<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Io e Te<\/strong> are the glasses by Nason Moretti<\/strong> set in a wooden tray resembling a landing stage\u2014an object conceived by Venetian designer Marco Zito<\/strong> for Lunardelli to tell the story of the Venetian Lagoon landscapes, with winter fog and expanses of purple artichokes in summer.<\/p>\n

The cocktail created by Lino Marchese features Campari<\/strong> and Select<\/strong>, a handcrafted liqueur born in Venice, and Gin dei Sospiri<\/b><\/a>, a distillate inspired by Sant\u2019Erasmo, a Venetian island immersed in the salt marsh where the precious glasswort, the protagonist of this gin, grows alongside other botanicals.<\/p>\n

In this way, the cocktail becomes a means to discuss\u2014through mixology as well\u2014the Venetian territory, life in the lagoon, the tradition of craftsmanship, and design innovation.<\/p>\n
