- Modern Bodies. The Construction of the Body in Renaissance Venice
Until July 27
The exhibition brings together works by Leonardo, Michelangelo, Dürer, Giorgione, and other masters to explore how, during the Renaissance, the representation of the human body became a space for artistic, scientific, and symbolic research. From Vesalius’s anatomical theater to the geometric rigor of the Vitruvian Man, to figurative variations between idealization and desire, the body emerges as an object of study and cultural construction.
