Discover Lunardelli Venezia at Milano Home, in The Green Circle section, focusing on research, craftsmanship, and sustainability
Milano Home, the trade fair dedicated to home decor, hosted Lunardelli Venezia, a Venetian artisan company specializing in contemporary design objects made of wood, metals, precious fabrics, and Murano glass.
The company brought its most iconic pieces to Milan within The Green Circle section, a special project by Raremood dedicated to sustainability and research, featuring products selected for their aesthetic excellence, functionality, and positive impact on the environment and community, evaluated according to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
A close look at the craftsmanship that distinguishes the company: visitors had the opportunity to experience firsthand the unique materials that characterize the creations on display:
- Ca’ Pesaro, the exquisite oak and velvet seat from the historic Tessitura Bevilacqua. Inspired by the diamond-point rustication of the Baroque palace on the Grand Canal, the bench recreates Venice’s imposing architecture with dramatic three-dimensional effects.
- Piova, the wood and glass lamp designed by Damiano Frison, in collaboration with the Murano-based company Nicola Moretti. A tribute to the raindrops that ripple the Venetian canals with concentric circles, Piova is designed to be portable and create evocative light patterns.
- Io e Te, the pair of blown glass tumblers designed by Marco Zito and crafted by Nason Moretti. The two glasses evoke glimpses of the Venice lagoon through a play of transparencies reminiscent of fog and the purple and green tones of Sant’Erasmo artichokes, resting on a tray that resembles a walnut wood pier.
All products, handmade by master craftsman Sebastiano Lunardelli, offer a synesthetic journey into fine craftsmanship. The upcoming season’s projects were previewed in Milan, along with the brand’s history; in Venice, its collections are showcased in the artisan workshop near Campo San Polo, which also serves as an exhibition space and a meeting place for cultural events.
