From November 19 to 23, on the occasion of the Feast of Madonna della Salute, the Home of The Human Safety Net in St. Mark’s Square—located near the votive bridge leading to the Basilica della Salute—offers a week of games, music, and stories from around the world with free admission for everyone: children, families, educators, students, and citizens.

A meeting to empower human potential as a lever for change: ideas that become actions, communities that become laboratories for the future, and imagination that translates into resilience, inclusion, and real social impact.
The author Giancarlo Vianello accompanies participants in the discovery of Unus Mundus, a book that invites us to look at the world as a single and connected whole, where everything that exists, whether visible or invisible, is part of the same reality. We will explore the idea of the deep bond between things, people, and the nature that surrounds us.

The appointment with Alberto Toso Fei and Laura Bumbalova returns to discover a Venice that has always been inclusive and attentive to the most vulnerable. With them, we will venture into the maze of Venetian calli, listening to stories and legends, between past and present, myth and toponymy.

Perseverance Path: the strength of relationships
For families with children aged 4-7
The second appointment in the training and discussion path consisting of three meetings dedicated to parents and educators, to discover tools and perspectives that strengthen the bond with children, in an atmosphere of listening and mutual growth. While the little ones play in the dedicated spaces of the Home, adults experience moments of guided discussion and reflection with the professionals from Baba Jaga APS – La Casa delle Meraviglie.
Pedagogist Anna Giardi, a professional specializing in parenting and educational support in relational terms, will guide participants through a learning journey to become conscious parents.
We focus on our potential and resources, learning to support ourselves and become a positive reference for the little ones.

World Children’s Day – Il Pentagramma for everyone
A day of workshops and musical performances
On the occasion of World Children’s Rights Day, the Home of The Human Safety Net offers a day dedicated to music as a universal language of inclusion, in collaboration with the music school Il Pentagramma.
Families, children, and young people of all ages can experiment together with the power of creativity, listening, and relationships through music and its languages.

QUELLILÀ – Readings in different languages of the world
For children aged 4 to 10
An appointment with young readers passionate about illustrated books who, each in their own language, will accompany children into fantastic worlds through stories and short tales.
The volunteers of Quellilà come from many different countries, and each brings the beauty and magic of their own culture and language: children will be transported to near and far lands by the magic of images and the sound of different languages.

The Home of The Human Safety Net at the Procuratie in St. Mark’s Square is a space open to all, with exhibitions, activities, and events dedicated to the community. Admission is free for everyone, with a voluntary donation.
A World of Potential, a permanent exhibition at the Procuratie, is an immersive and interactive experience for all ages that invites you to discover your abilities and strengthen self-awareness.
A continuous program of free admission activities and meetings (with voluntary donation), developed in collaboration with local cultural and social organizations, makes the Procuratie a vital place for meeting, dialogue, and participation.
