In Venice, fashion has ancient origins and looks to the future: Venice Fashion Week presents designers, creatives, and artisans with events and fashion shows from October 20 to 30, 2021
After a summer in which major brands proved that Venice is a perfect city for high fashion, Venice Fashion Week presents the creatives and the best of local sartorial and sustainable fashion production, a living art that tells the story of Venice’s 1,600 years through its talents.
Venice is a factory of high craftsmanship and fashion.
Fashion shows, meetings, and walks are opportunities to discover the talents who demonstrate every day that Venice is the city where the future is designed.

Fashion was born in Venice with the art of weaving

With weaving, the Venetian manufacturing industry, Venice became an important production center for the silks and velvets requested in all European courts.
Venice Fashion Week begins from the origins of fashion with a live digital account of the exhibition Color in Venetian Weaving at the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, curated by Tessitura Luigi Bevilacqua and the Associazione Culturale Chiostro Tintorettiano.
