Discover the art of gold leaf in the historic artisanal workshop of Marino Menegazzo and his family. The company Mario Berta Battiloro keeps alive the ancient family craft started back in 1926: gold, silver, and other precious metals are transformed into ultra-thin gold leaves suitable for applications in multiple sectors: artistic decorations for glass, mosaic, wood, fabrics, and more, cosmetic gold, food-grade gold, and for contemporary art.

Cocktails and live music by J Milli at the Orientalbar & Bistrot of the Hotel Metropole (Riva degli Schiavoni, 4149) for Metropole White. An event open to the public with a paid cocktail (€10) created specifically for Venice Cocktail Week with mixologist Lino Marchese in collaboration with Altamura Distilleries Vodka.
From October 27 to 29, the windows of the Orientalbar will host an exhibition of clutches by the brand Raptus&Rose made with Venetian brocades, vintage Indian rayon, and traditional Chinese jacquards. The collaboration between Metropole and the fashion brand by Silvia Bisconti has deep roots in the Rose Room of the Metropole, a special room designed and created by the designer together with Gloria Beggiato.

A journey narrated by architect Raffaele Dessì, an expert in the history of costume and architecture in Venice, to discover the styles, costumes, and ways of life in Venice, between fashion and craftsmanship, in collaboration with Venice Cocktail Week. Homage to the Met
The Sotoportego de Rialto lights up with the exhibition Homage to the Met in the Sorelle Sent boutique at San Polo 70. Inspired by the incredible collection of African Art at the Metropolitan Museum of New York, the collection is designed by Marina and Susanna Sent. Glass necklaces and silk muslin scarves reflect the vibrant and bold colors of Africa with shades recalling desert sands, sunset reds, and jungle greens. Each piece of jewelry is a chromatic work of art handmade in the Marina and Susanna Sent workshop in Murano.

Discover fashion through the unique hats of Giuliana Longo in Campo San Salvador, S. Marco, 4813, a master artisan awarded at the last edition of Venice Fashion Week The Blue Artisan 2022.
The creative workshop
Venetian artisans and designers exhibit bags, jewelry, accessories, and clothing in the new Temporary Shop at San Polo 1062, in Calle dell’Ogio in Ruga Rialto. Until October 29, it serves as a workshop and showroom for jewelry made with the Soutache technique by Ladra di Perle and the colorful and precious crochet objects by Tutto in un armadio. The shop will remain open with other artisans and creatives until December 24, 2023.
Adele’s Chinese and Korean-inspired ceramics
Adele Stefanelli is the ceramicist who practices Kintsugi in Venice, the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with pure gold, in her beautiful workshop at Cantieri Crea on Giudecca (number 213). For Atelier Aperti, by reservation only, she offers a personalized lesson on wheel throwing.

The Photography Festival
Venice Photo Lab is an exhibition of photographers and artists from all over the world that explores a current theme every year: Regeneration is the theme for the 2023 edition. It is open until October 25 at the Castello Gallery at the Giardini and at the Arte Spazio Tempo gallery in Campo del Ghetto Novo.
