Fourth edition of the Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano from October 1 to 4 with 163 exhibitors from across Italy, including forty Venetians and over one hundred live demonstrations in the splendid setting of the Arsenale di Venezia.
A mosaic in semi-precious stones that resembles a painting. Leaves impressed in ceramic. Perfumes constructed as landscapes. Felt, lace, solid wood, bespoke jewelry, and vintage automobiles reconstructed component by component.
From October 1 to 4, 2026, the fourth edition of the Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano brings together 163 exhibitors at the Arsenale, approximately forty Venetian enterprises, and over one hundred live demonstrations.
We have selected objects, materials, and makers we know personally, and makers we want to know. Here is a curated selection to organize your visit to the Salone, where the public can meet artisans, tools, materials, and processes directly.
Seeing How an Object Is Born
More than one hundred demonstrations allow you to follow the transformation of materials and speak with those who work them.
I Mestieri dell’Arte: Education Enters the Salone
At Tesa 113, I Mestieri dell’Arte brings together fourteen schools, institutes, foundations, and associations committed to transmitting artisan knowledge.
The Politecnico Calzaturiero, IIS Vendramin Corner, Liceo Guggenheim, Liceo Abate Zanetti (glass), Fondazione Andriana Marcello (lace), and Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli, together with other educational institutions dedicated to ceramics, illustration, goldsmithing, textiles, and shipbuilding. A valuable opportunity to see how these crafts are taught, experimented with, and passed on to new generations.
Venetian and Veneto Artisans to See at the Salone
- Marisa Convento, Venetian Beads
Designer and impiraressa, Marisa Convento works with Venetian beads and their culture. Jewelry, techniques, and the narrative of the craft restore a heritage recognized by UNESCO through the objects and people who keep it alive.
- Martina Vidal, Burano Lace
In the work of Martina Vidal, Burano needle lace enters contemporary applications. Production, education, and transmission of skills coexist in an enterprise that Venezia da Vivere has followed for some time.
- Orsoni Venezia 1888 and Two Venetian Manufactories
Orsoni Venezia 1888 produces enamels and mosaics used in art, architecture, and interiors.
- Lunardelli Venezia
Lunardelli Venezia works with wood and develops furniture and objects with designers.

Demis Marin starts with existing garments, disassembles them, and reconstructs them. In his atelier Ramosalso Upcycling, recovery becomes a project through cutting, tailoring, and transformation.
- Cristina Secco, Felt as Material
Wool, silk, linen, and cotton overlap in nuno feltro, where fibers become textile surfaces, garments, and accessories constructed through layering and manual processing.
- SVO Ceramic, Everyday Ceramics
In Murano, Nadia Saponaro works with SVO Ceramic on contemporary ceramics for everyday use, through research into form, material, and function.
- Gondolina Shoes, the Furlana Today
Gondolina Shoes reinterprets the Venetian furlana as contemporary footwear.

Vases, sculptures, glasses, and chandeliers, also made to order. 4Glass Murano brings to the Arsenale a glasswork that looks to contemporary production.
- Andrea Zecchin, Bespoke Jewelry
The Venetian Andrea Zecchin creates personalized jewelry working with stones, casting, and embossing. Form, proportions, and materials change for each individual project.
Artisans and Objects to Seek Out at the Salone

Riva 1920 brings the culture of solid wood furniture developed in Cantù. Provenance and seasoning of the wood, selection of boards, joinery, finishes, and repairability reveal what often remains invisible behind a piece of furniture.
- Zanini, Olfactory Landscapes
Zanini presents smellscapes: compositions constructed through perfumes, scents, and references to real or imagined places, where the object gives way to a designed and reproducible sensory experience.
Leaves and herbs impressed in ceramic, glazes formulated in the laboratory, gold and third-fire lustres.
- Nevenka Martinello
Firings such as Raku Nudo and Saggar Firing are the art of Nevenka Martinello, who allows smoke, salts, and combustible materials to modify the surfaces of her creations.
- Akros, Etching on Marble
